AGARTALA, Sep 15 (TIWN): From wrong diagnosis of Lt Bina Pani Roy to 3 days old baby's death during COVID-tests and incidents like dirty atmosphere of COVID-Care centre forced a pregnant lady to go Facebook live and death of patients in lack of oxygen, although the Biplab Deb Govt could not answer anything, neither bothered to clear the issue with statements instead of blaming media with false accusation of 'Fake News', today Biplab Deb has blamed his state's media for patients insecurity with hospitals. When a Doctor had to transfer to other state for better treatment and his CM's family members were in home isolation instead of COVID-Care centre, when media working for the people, raising their voice through pen, Tripura CM has continued his war against media. This fresh allegation came 4 days after CM Biplab Deb had threatened media in a open programme.

Saying, media might have misinterpreted his statement or misunderstood, CM Biplab Deb said that he never wanted to hurt anyone but media also should do its duty properly. He alleged, due to media, people are now afraid to come to hospitals.

However, a group of TV journalists met CM today to address about their issues and asked the Chief Minister about his Sabroom speech's controversy.

CM said, his statement was misunderstood, however, did not make any apology or said sorry like he said in Diana Hayden controversy case's case.

On the other side, Journalists Assembly had given 3 days time to the CM to make an apology for his threatening remark at Sabroom or to face legal action, when followed by his statement, within 24 hours, journalist Parashar Biswas was severely attacked by miscreants.

So far no written or direct apology has been done by CM.

The issue erupted after CM on 11th September in a programme said that he will never forgive media who are writing over excitedly about COVID situations and people are getting confused and history will not forgive those media and Biplab Deb will not forgive them and history will witness that what Biplab Deb says, he does.
