AGARTALA, Aug 12 (TIWN): One more major incident reported from Agartala GB hospital COVID-19 Ward, when a new born baby died allegedly amid COVID-19 Test. According to the family, the baby was healthy and his mother is also fine but today, the Doctor started sample collection of the baby for Corona test, but suddenly, heavy bleeding started and the baby was unable to take breath and soon it died. The family broke down in cries, protest seeking their baby’s life back. The mother was unable to be controlled with whole medical team, but the patient party could not meet the Doctor as they were said that Doctor went out of the hospital already. From Hospital authority no statement was given. This incident has erupted heavy resentment among the public as various death in negligence, fault COVID-19 tests are being reported frequently in state.

Today itself, another patient party also raised serious allegation, where the COVID-19 test report could not be given by the hospital but he died in COVID-19 and after death, the hospital allegedly suggested the patient party to take the body with them, which raised more doubts, as per the allegation of the patient party.

Recently 80 years old woman died in COVID-19 ward in negligence but later it was known that she was falsely tested Coronavirus but she was not a COVID-19 patient. It was exposed by her granddaughters who are by profession Doctors too.

In the COVID-19 ward, there have been shortage of oxygen allegedly since the month of February due to technical problems. COVID-19 care center’s situations are also not organized but whenever any incident is happening, the blame is going to the Doctors but Administrative failure in management is a big reason behind these happenings.
