AGARTALA, June 1 (TIWN): Tripura Govt’s Media & Publicity officials irresponsible advertisements in Chief Minister’s official twitter handle, Govt publicity exaggerated numbers of farmers raised questions whether these officials are living on weeds. Modi Govt’s 2nd term’s 1 year was completed yesterday, so Tripura Govt in CM’s twitter handle mentioned that Modi Govt distributed Health card among 2224 crore farmers, then over 513 crores farmers registered in M-Kishan Portal. So public raising questions when India’s total population is 130 crores, how come 2224 crores farmers are born ??? CM’s facebook handlers blunders have nationally made these posts viral, cracking jokes in WhatsApp group. Earlier also, similar embarrassment caused to the Chief Minister after his social media handlers posted that Feni bridge is located on river Gomati etc.

The post was under the heading of doubling farmers incomes by 2022 by Modi’s 1 year achievement giving a figure of registration done by farmers online in Farmers’ portal. 

It was posted with the headline of “Doubling Farmers Income 2022” with that much exaggeration that the figures of the achievement crossed five times of Indian actual population.  

Modi government,vowed to double farmer incomes by 2022 in order to achieve this but this exaggarrated farmers figures causing flutters.

Govrnment by its own admission considers the extension of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) to “all farmers” a major achievement of the NDA-II. "It was manifesto promise of the BJP that PM Kisan would be extended to all farmers of India," Modi had tweeted upon the completion of six months of his second term in power.
