AGARTALA, Jan 20 (TIWN): Opposition leader, former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar on Monday has slammed the BJP and accused Tripura Assembly Deputy speaker Biswabandhu Seng for manipulating the chair-power as the speaker. A chaos hit the Assembly on Monday followed by walking out of the opposition from the Assembly centering a recently occurred custodial murder of Sushanta Ghosh who was arrested in ATM fraud case. Also, Chief Minister cum Home Minister Biplab Deb failed to give any proper statement over the murder case. Manik Sarkar condemned also CM’s role when even after such a murder incident no police official was suspended amid CCTV footage was not found. Manik Sarkar, said, earlier the Opposition’s reference about the issue was accepted in the Assembly by the speaker.

Thus, today it was the date when Chief Minister was to address on it. 

When Deputy speaker asked Chief Minister Biplab Deb to give reply on this, he replied saying an unnatural death occurred in West Agartala PS but for the investigation, nothing can be said now. Then the ruling MLAs started attacking the opposition with words how such a question can be answered in the Assembly ? Then Deputy speaker also tuned in same voice like the BJP MLAs. In such situations, the opposition reacted with walk out and Manik Sarkar told media that might be that is the reason that he (Biswabandhu Sen) was appointed in the post to work in favour of the ruling Govt and to suppress the voice of opposition. 

“What’s going on in the Assembly?”, asked Manik Sarkar. 

Sarkar also raised question, how CCTV camera can be switched off when this unnatural death took place ? 

He further asked, why no action was taken against the concerned official who was controlling the CCTV ?

Manik Sarkar slammed BJP’s house controlling method from Parliament to State Assembly and said, “In the name of majority BJP is trying to push the whole country under their feet and in Tripura also it's same. As a result, whole country is burning”.

“When the Govt can waste funds in the name of carnivals, why can’t it spend for Judicial investigation in West Agartala PS murder case ?”, added Sarkar reacting over the ongoing Magisterial investigation.
