AGARTALA, Oct 15 (TIWN): Tripura's dark era continue in dictator Saddam Hussein's style of running State Police machinery with sole aim to file FALSE cases against opposition medias, opposition parties and harass illegally. On Monday, In an unprecedented display of Politically instructed Mafia style attacks on opposition CPI-M party offices without any legal papers, without search warrants, insulting even court orders. Followed by further illegal acts by West Tripura Police Station's refusal to accept bail bond (as instructed by Court) in spite of Lawyer Arindam Bhattacharjee's repeated asking to Police officials to accept bail bond and finish formalities. Police's illegal acts are condemned throughout the State as CPI-M era's honest Minister Badal Chowdhury emerged as State's Hero, a symbol of fight against BJP Govt's targeted illegal attacks.

Tripura BJP Govt already lost its mass support, 18 months rule turned highly unpopular, BJP Govt mostly running under instructions from noted criminals like Pratima Bhowmik, Ram Prasad Pal, Krishnadhan Das.

Tripura has witnessed a drama till latenight followed by police’s illegal activities throughout the day and till late-night denial of receiving bail-bonds.

Police's illegal actions continue as now police have rejected bail bond of Badal Choudhury disobeying court's order. The Police have reportedly committed ultimate crime by not accepting bail bonds of former PWD Minister Badal Choudhury today night. Advocate Arindam Bhattacherjee said that for hours the I/O made them seated, but at least no bail bond was accepted, which is totally a violation of law and contempt of court.Bhattacharya said, “It was almost that we came to surrender in the police station but violating court’s order Badal Choudhury’s bond was denied. Now let’s see till where it goes”.It can be mentioned here that after day long hearing, the West District Court has postponed the final order till 16th October but in a relief for former PWD Minister Badal Choudhury, court has accepted interim bail at the bond of Rs. 3 lakhs, but the I/O denied the bail.

West Agartala Police lodged an FIR against former PWD Minister Badal Choudhury on Sunday whereas Choudhury appealed for an interim bail in the court. So, the BJP Govt’s chief wish to make Badal Choudhury’s arrest possible failed. The Govt lawyers after day-long hearing who failed to produce proper evident taking time again and again, after the arrest of Badal Choudhury was denied and bail was accepted said that next hearing will be on 16th October and bail can be extended or not it will  be clear then.

But throughout the day, lots of dramas the state has witnesses and reportedly police without court’s order was running from South Tripura to Agartala to Airport in search of the former PWD Minister Badal Choudhury to arrest.

What shocked the state is that today during the hearing procedure, police led by Executive Magistrate Rinku Reang entered Melarmath CPI-M Party office for raid without any search warrant. This action came after justice asked police to halt the arrest till the hearing is pronounced.

Advocate Purushottom Roy Barman said that police have violated the law by this action.

Then CPI-M held a protest rally condemning police’s illegal actions and the FIR filed against Badal Choudhury and former PWD Chief Engineer Sunil Bhowmik.

Now tomorrow what the court says about Sunil Bhowmik case and Badal Choudhury on 16th October these are to be seen.
