Fuel Prices shoot up for 8th straight day causing ‘depressing markets’ : Petrol price in Agartala today goes at Rs. 74.88, Diesel Ra. 69.34, higher than Delhi

AGARTALA, Sep 24 (TIWN): National Congress on Tuesday has hit the BJP Govt and non-Congress State Governments for continuous increase in the VAT on fuels which are increasing the fuel prices higher and higher with the national rate everyday. Referring Delhi’s petrol price, Congress national leader Shamistha Mukharjee, Spokesperson, AICC accused BJP Govt and Delhi’s Kejriwal Govt for hiking fuel taxes which are causing distressed across the markets. Report says, although Tripura, a Northeast state right now suffering due to massive fuel prices. When the Congress leader was referring Delhi’s petrol price is at Rs. 74.13, record shows here in Agartala its price is at Rs. 74.88, higher than Delhi. Mukharjee said, lift of the fuel price means increases of all commodity prices referring the hiking rates of vegetable prices.

Sharmistha Mukharjee was addressing about the distress of the markets, countering PM Modi’s claim at US that ‘everything is going well in India’.

Petrol prices in Agartala have been turning more volatile, as prices of crude oil have been showing a firm trend. It is important to check todays petrol price in Agartala ₹ 74.88 (24th September 2019).

Today’s diesel rates in Agartala are very sensitive to global crude prices at Rs. 69.35. In Delhi it is Rs. 67.

Vegetable prices are boiling at high steam and onion prices rocketed at Rs. 70.

Nil customers in the Durga puja markets were alleged by various local TV channels and also social media users. Shop-keepers of Agartala alleged at 70% loss in the business this year.

When personal taxes of middle class people are at 30%, corporates are enjoying at 22%.

The Congress further raised the unemployment issues, which recorded by creating history of mounting unemployment rate in last 45 years.
