AGARTALA, Sep 13 (TIWN): In the trap of depriving youths from Government jobs, Education Dept’s intrigues are playing at its best. In the name of teachers’ crisis the Tripura Govt is proceeding to appoint teachers with relaxations in B.Ed and percentage, but when Tripura’s youths qualify themselves in TET exams having B.Ed degree and graduation 50% percentage, the Dept not filling up the Govt and a huge numbers of students could not pass in the Teachers Selection (STGT). Earlier, the passing number in TET (STGT) was 52 which has been increased by BJP Govt 75. Still Tripura’s teaching aspirants youths have proven their quality with massive passing rate. Total 743 youths passed but then Govt called only those who scored 85% in the TET exam. After that also massive numbers of job aspirants submitted their papers for verification with asked percentages according to the demand of the Education Dept, but then also many didn’t get TET certificate even after scoring 85% to 90% which has generated massive frustration.

Total 293 youths this time didn’t get TET certificates, according to the complaint of the deprived job aspirants.

Earlier also over thousand B.Ed holders with TET certificates left jobless under the Education Dept’s negligence to recruit them.

When Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE) monthly data has ranked Tripura Tripura in the second position for unemployment rates out of 29 states in India for August-2019 there is no sign of recruiting qualified teachers by the Education Dept led by Ratanlal Nath who is also the Law Minister of Tripura.

For long one year, Education Minister was blaming massive teachers crisis in Tripura schools and by calculation, he cited not even 10 teachers are existing per school, but for  the recent times taking U-Turn Nath alleging, Tripura has enough numbers of teachers accessing the needs.

Earlier, Ratanlal Nath said, there are 14,000 vacant posts in teaching but lack of qualified candidates are creating teachers’ crisis. Tripura’s unemployment rate is 27.9 %, which is second.
