AGARTALA, Aug 27 (TIWN): Rose Valley company looted people's moneys and miscreants have looted all expensive items. Under High Court’s order Enforcement Dept has handed-over Agartala Rose Valley properties to State Govt and today a team led by Milind Ramteke, Additional Secretary & Director (of Urban Development Dept), also and Ashim Saha, SDM Sadar started calculation of the damaged properties and the left items inside the building. This building is located on the heart of the capital but how valuable items have been looted from the building, it has triggered question and resentment. Talking to media, Ramtake said, “Hight Court has ordered the Urban development dept to take over the Rose Valley buildings and Government has also endorsed the procedure. So, we are also now undertaking this process and right now the process is under the SDM. It is in highly damaged condition and most of the items have been stolen".
"We are preparing the inventory of the remaining items and also recording the damage which has been done by the miscreants. The miscreants have stolen every part of the building including the central AC. So we will be submit the damage report the Govt”, Ramteke told media.
SDM Ashim Saha told media that a joint inspection will be done and police officials are also present in this inspection.
The last drive of the SDM was done on July 26, 2019 in the building.
Rose Valley had spread its umbrella across Tripura in CPI-M era which declined after looting lakhs of people’s money. Govt has started working on Rose Valley investigation, but it is now under CBI and so far no recent report about CBI investigation came.
Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb in June month has conducted a meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah and discussed about various important issues related to Tripura.
In the status it has been said that on May 22nd, Home Dept has taken up with DoPT for taking up investigation against chit fund agencies which were culminated in Tripura up to 2012.
