AGARTALA, Aug 20 (TIWN): In a barbaric attack allegedly by BJP supporters, one CPI-M leader was killed in Tripura, 8 injured and 2 in critical condition admitted in GB including 85 years old woman. Today former Chief Minister, Politburo Manik Sarkar has visited the victims’ house at Suryamaninanagar Chowmuhani area and talked to the family members. The family members of the killed Comrade Nakul Saha broke down in tears seeing Manik Sarkar and other Party leaders and alleged in front of police the miscreants escaped from the spot and today also one murderer was seen in broad-say light. Out of many miscreants, two murder accused have been identified as : 1) Samir Das, 2) Ratan Das. None of them have been arrested. This area is belonged to none other than BJP’s criminal MLA Ram Prasad Pal, who recently was summoned by Tripura High Court in an attack and woman-assaulting case. Ram Prasad Pal also attacked own party’s women activists in Agartala after Lok Sabha Election results.
So, such murders and attacks on common me will never be decrease in Tripura, unless BJP slashes the power of such criminal instigating people from the party. Because they are setting as the role-model of their area, so youths are desperately involved in crimes.
Ram Prasad Pal’s qualification is also reportedly 8th passed, but allegedly has set high position in the administration.
Earlier, when a case was filed against Ram Prasad Pal’s alleged smuggler brother Mana Pal, Ram Prasad Pal further filed a case in the police station against the complainers and in this way he has continued his hooliganism.
Twice Ram Prasad Pal threatened police officers, insulted them before media for deploying forces in voting areas. He is known as Election-rigging-master of broad-day-light, political-ally BJP MP Pratima Bhowmik who is too now planning to unseat the highest powered person of the state and to chair by herself.
CPI-M has demanded justice in the incident and Govt help for the victims and arrests of the criminals.
This CPI-M leader was killed brutally on Sunday night, when Manasa puja was being celebrated.
CPI-M leader Pabitra Kar said whoever was coming to save Nakul Saha was targeted with sharp weapons.
This incident has erupted panic among the people, resentment among CPI-M supporters.
The deceased has been identified as Nakul Saha (40), resident of Village-Naba Tilla of Amtali, Agartala. Two of the deceased’s family members are now critically injured in the attack.
Pushparani Saga (85), mother-in law of the deceased and Gopal Banik (50) are admitted in GB hospital in critical situation. Wife of the dead communist leader was also injured.
Total 8 persons have been injured in that attack.
MLA Ram Prasad Pal like persons were seen forcing own party people to sit-up by catching ears in his office. Such attitudes already damaged the Law and Order in Suryamaninagar, the are where Tripura’s main University is located. People are undergoing day-night terror in that area.
