AGARTALA, Aug 16 (TIWN): Unemployed youths who are Govt job aspirants have alleged about heavy financial pressure on them by various coaching centers. In the name of coaching, lots of the coaching centres have been opened in the recent time to address the need of the unemployed youth and job aspirants of Tripura.

But under the disguise of coaching or study centers some of them are now deceiving the job aspirants in the name of job security and looting a handsome amount of money from the poor and helpless youth. The fraudulent coaching centers take a lot of money in the name of fees but never provide any Money receipt or bill which clearly shows that there is no Government supervision over them and many of them are hiding themselves under the disguise of NGO or charitable trust.

These NGOs or charitable trusts are also undertaking various social welfare projects of the central or state government. It is true that most of the coaching centres are providing necessary service to the aspirants by making available good teaching faculties and study materials.

One such fraudulent coaching center is allegedly running by a retired TCS officer under the tag of NGO, but actually it's charging a lot of money from the students both as admission fee as well as monthly fees.

At the time of admission the so called owner of the coaching institute lures the students that he has qualified teaching staff and study materials for job aspirants but in reality it's all bogus. There is not a single qualified teaching staff in this coaching centre.

The owner of this coaching institute often boasts off his credentials and links as an ex TCS officer by allegedly making calls to the secretary TPSC , various secretary level officers of government of Tripura in front of the students or job aspirants and also claims to have the inner circle news from the TPSC and various other government departments.

Recently it has come to the mass attention that one of the students of this coaching institute who earlier faced the exams under TPSC as general candidate, but after the government announcement of  hiking the reservation quota for physically disabled candidates from 3 percent to 4 percent, the same student has arranged disability certificate for himself !! in the category of low vision.

Whether the disability certificate of this candidate has also been arranged with the help of the same influential ex TCS officer who is also the owner of that coaching centre is largely doubtful and it demands proper investigation by the appropriate authority . Any person can have physical problems but this doesn't mean that he or she will be qualified for having the disability certificate. This matter is also to be taken under the  supervision of the honorable High Court of Tripura.

In Tripura the government  has no control over the local coaching centres regarding their fees structure and faculties and these coaching centres are tactfully hiding their enormous business involving lot of money under the name of NGOs.

This problem is enormous and the civil society is now going to take this matter under the supervision of the government authority and the High Court of Tripura as PIL.
