‘21,000 hectare lands will be brought under Farmers’ scheme’ : Tripura CM

AGARTALA, Aug 15 (TIWN): Tripura CM Biplab Deb on 73rd Independence Day said that Govt is giving a major priority to the farmers’ scheme to double the incomes of state’s farmers.
CM said at least 4,000 rupees have been given in 2 times to farmers and left 2000 will be given in that to ensure Rs. 6000 per farmer’s family annually.
Under Fasal Bima Yojna huge numbers of farmers have been brought under the farmers’ scheme whereas and 21,000 hectare of land will be brought under this scheme in the next Ravi-season.
Govt has started buying paddies and state’s pineapples and lemons are going to abroad, CM said.
