AGARTALA, Aug 2 (TIWN): GB hospital senior doctors’ and staffs third-class behaviors with patient parties have once again exposed after doctor slammed a patient party suggesting why have they brought their patient in the GB hospital if they are worried so much for his / her health ? It raise question, whether being in middle class or poor family should be the reason of health service deprivation to a patient party ? A stroke patient Dhanajay Acharjee undergone heart attack, was brought in the hospital at 7.30 am. They directly took the patient at the trauma centre. The trauma centre staffs asked them to take him to emergency ward and the patient party brought him in the emergency ward accordingly. In the emergency ward, the doctors gave him some light treatment and then suggested for CT scan. For CT scan they waited from 8 am to 11 am. No trolley was available.

They searched around but no trolley was found for the patient. The patient already went in paralyzed condition till then.

At last a trolley was seen and they put him on that but suddenly a female staff put him out of the trolley in very inhuman manner. Then she asked money to take the patient to the CT scan centre. The patient party asked why they have to pay, but the lady said without payment she will not work.

While complained to doctor, he directly asked if they have so much of problems why do they come in GB hospital.

The son in law of the patient Ranjit Biswas said, “This is the behavior of doctors and staffs here. All the patient parties alleged the same. They behave in such mean ways that villagers do not understand anything”.

Ranjit Biswas said, he can identify the Doctor and the staff.

He added, people are helping the Govt but if such behaviors are received from the doctors and staffs how people will be benefited ?

Money extortion in GB hospital is 100% fact and everyday issue. Senior doctors’ mean behavious are common and in maximum cases, ICU is reserved for Doctors’ hot channels. Common men even needed do not get ICU.
