BISHALGARH, October 23 (TIWN): After exactly a month and three days since incumbent BDO Subrata Das lodged FIR against BDO Bimal Chakraborty and 11 others in Bishalgarh P S alleging misappropriation of MGNREGA fund of Rs 17 crore, Chief Minister Manik Sarkar's specially favoured aide 'Bimal' ultimately surrendered in Bishalgarh Court. At around 1 pm scamstar BDO surrendered before court of the Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate(SDJM) Purander Prasad Pal. It is learnt that the SDJM granted 5 days of police remand against Bimal Chakraborty, He will be produced before the court again on 27th October.. However, police wanted to present a showpiece by demanding 10 days of police remand against Bimal Chakraborty. However this whole drama of surrender was pre-planned by Manik lobby and Bimal's brothers to fool people and judiciary. Bimal's brother TSR Commandant of 11BN Kamal Chakraborty's wife Sushmita Chakraborty is the Personal Assistant to Purander Prasad Pal, SDJM , Bishalgarh. So one can imagine the fate of this mock surrender as Police treating Bimal in Diwali party in the name of remand.

Thus, Bimal Chakraborty, a special officer of Chief Minister Manik Sarkar and the brother of DYFI state secretary Amal Chakraborty , will spend this year's Diwali in police custody (though no one knows if his brother TSR Commandant Kamal will pick him up to Diwali Party).Thus it becomes absolutely clear that police  have not taken any effort to arrest Bimal Chakraborty as no one took the risk to enrage his  Godfather Manik Sarkar, the so called 'Mr White' in the CPI(M) party.
        A top level police official told this correspondent on Thursday afternoon," The entire game of this surrender is the master plan of Bimal's brother Kamal Chakraborty, TRS Commandant of 11BN . Kamal's wife Sushmita Chakraborty is the Personal Assistant to Purander Prasad Pal, SDJM , Bishalgarh. He was supposed to surrender on Wednesday but Sushmita Chakraborty and Kamal Chakraborty instructed Bimal to surrender on 23rd as there is holiday in court due to Diwali. As such Bimal did not surrender last day and today from the morning itself Kamal Chakraborty and his wife consulted with advocate Saradindu Chakraborty and asked him to go with Bimal Chakraborty in the Court as defence lawyer." 
           Only on Tuesday SDPO Bishalgarh Arun Kanti Sarkar told BJP leaders and workers during the gherao of Bishalgarh that police will arrest Bimal within 48 hours. That was the clear indication that everything was set up and Bimal indeed was sent behind the bars but police has no credit in it as his brother Kamal Chakrabory instructed police officials not to harass or arrest Bimal. Bishalgarh police too did the same, said a TIWN sources in Bishalgarh Police Station. With this act of Bimal, once again it is proved that Manik Sarkar is his indeed, the friend , philosopher and guide and as such the Chief Minister Manik Sarkar did not his police to arrest his most favoured officer. What a shame!  

A query is being raised by a section of our readers whether former Tripura Chief Secretary S.K.Panda would like to issue a notification to his publisher Debananda Dam's Gyan Bichitra whether to add the word "SCAMSTER"  before Bimal's name in  Book as BDO Bimal translated that "historical" book into Bengali.  Panda's book  "One plus One = Eleven" Bengali version "Eker sathe Ek mile Egaro" was translated by Scamster BDO Bimal Chakraborty. So far no one knows how much Govt of Tripura money spent to buy this book and book's royalty and commission went to whose pockets. Same goes with Mr Clean "Tripura Ratna" Chief Minister's  book "Atit Diner Smriti".  

Only good thing about corruption is that, its rotten stench never stays hidden, sooner or later it speads out in open. 

What a corrupt administration of Tripura ???  - first a Chief Minister and Chief Secretary doesn't fulfil their basic job of running state efficiently, wastes time writing garbage books and then uses Govt Machinery, issues Govt Order forcing every school to buy garbage books at the expense of Central Govt's RMSA central Funds.  This sin will never leave them alone in life,  just a matter of time when we will see these masterminds of all scams behind bars.
