AGARTALA, May 20 (TIWN): Tripura Congress President Pradyot Manikya has given reaction to the exit polls published by media across the country, predicting a massive victory for the NDA. Pradyot Manikya told the Congress supporters in Tripura not to be worried about the exit poll results and to hold patience till 23rd May, the day of result out for the Lok Sabha Election. Also the Congress leader said that his party has done a great job and there no doubt about Congress’s best-giving in the poll battle. Hitting exit poll as might be ‘untrue’, Pradyot Manikya said only on 23rd May the actual result will come out overcoming the data provided on ‘exit poll’. In a social media post, Prdayot Manikya has said, “To all our Congress men and women , results are out on the 23rd so don't worry and relax .We have fought a great election and do'nt worry about Exit Polls . The mood in Tripura cannot be captured by what is happening in Delhi . On the 23rd Exit Polls will Exit and actual results will be out”.

In Tripura, the exit poll has predicted both seats for the BJP, whereas the sentiment of Tripura is unmatched except West Tripura where Pratima Bhowmik;s winning has major chance due to her sponsoring for election rigging and fake vote casting.

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee said, “I don’t trust Exit Poll gossip. The game plan is to manipulate or replace thousands of EVMs through this gossip. I appeal to all Opposition parties to be united, strong and bold. We will fight this battle together”.

Also the BJP man Vice-President M. Venkaiah Naidu has mocked at the exit polls, saying they were not exact polls. “Exit polls do not mean exact polls. We have to understand that. Since 1999, most of the exit polls have gone wrong,” the Vice-President pointed out.

Exit polls have projected a comfortable majority for Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led national coalition NDA despite attempts by opposition parties to unite in crucial states such as Uttar Pradesh.
