AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, May 16 (TIWN): In a shocking exposure from Congress Delegation it was discovered that Vinod Zutshi who was sent as the Observer in Tripura polls, but supported BJP secretly even after witnessing videos of mass booth-captures, rigging. This truth was revealed during Congress delegations’ meeting with Chief Election Commissioner at Delhi today. It was said that ECI was ready to conduct repoll in 433 booths as recommended by Tripura CEO Sriram Taranikanti but it was Vinod Zutshi who overruled the matter with sole intention to benefit BJP Candidate Pratima Bhowmik. Today Congress leaders Ahmed Patel , Jairam Ramesh ,Abhishek Manu Singhvi , Rajeev Shukla and Tripura State Congress President Prdayot Manikya visited the Election Commission office of India. During the meeting with ECI it was told the Congress delegation that Special Observer Vinod Zutshi overruled the initial report for repolling in 433 booths and ordered only 168 booths .

Congress demanded the report of the observer Vinod Zutshi to be given to us so that it can challenge this order (specifically )in the Supreme Court. With the report, it will be challenged in the Supreme Court that the observer Zutshi did not follow the proper process and ground report.

Congress President Pradyot Manikya said that he will try till seeing the end of the justice. It was also said that Congress’s case is different from the CPI-M filed case and thus it has more valid grounds.

To manipulate BJP's massive rigging, BJP leaders including Ashok Sinha, Deputy CM Jishnu Debbarma were caught in secret visits in the Election Dept meeting Zutshi in Tripura. Also during Election BJP leaders met Vinod Zutshi and Ashok Sinha after meeting Zutshi said that the Observer has trusted BJP and said after coming in Tripura he found the situations are different.

After meeting Zutshi, next BJP leaders, Ministers started blasting Tripura CEO Sriram Taranikanti for sending recommendation of re-poll in 433 booths.
After Congress filed case in Supreme Court, Election Commission of India (ECI) had called the Congress leaders’ for a meeting today.. Meeting was called after Congress filed a case demanding total re-poll in the Supreme Court of India.Congress top leader advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi, Jairam Ramesh and State Congress President Pradyot Manikya have reportedly visited ECI to hold the meeting.Already reports are viral that re-poll chances are high, even though ECI has not announced anything yet. The party had organized a massive protest against the ongoing attacks upon Congress supporters in Tripura centering the Lok Sabha Election. Main election is against Chief Minister Biplab Deb and West Tripura MP candidate Pratima Bhowmik for the violence.

West Tripura Poll was held on 11th April with 100% booth capturing, voters prevention and massive rigging. When opposition demanded re-poll only 168 booths were announced for re-poll. Now both opposition parties in Tripura are striving for a Total Re-Poll.

In comparison with Congress's all out efforts, Tripura CPI-M Opposition Leader Manik Sarkar and MP candidate Sankar Prasad Datta failed to put up proper legal fight, even Supreme Court asked Sankar Prasad to refile his case in Tripura High Court.
