AGARTALA, March 25 (TIWN): Tripura’s Crime Queen Pratima Bhowmik’s amateur speech and low-grade Bengali utterance, BJP General Secretary Pratima Bhowmik who is fighting for MP seat at West Tripura against sitting CPI-M MP Sankar Prasad Datta and ex- BJP Vice President Subal Bhowmik, while addressing at Sonamura accused the sitting MPs of Tripura for seating in the Parliament whereas she will create a Prapti-Yug. However, whether Tripura gets anything or nor but public views are afraid of Bhowmik’s possible representation in Parliament with her unpresentable vocabulary and standard to be an MP, whereas amid much objection, central BJP has announced her as MP candidate. In her long speech she claimed, Tripura Govt in 1 year has cause massive development and the Prapti-Yug will start once Lok Sabha Election is ended. She boasted 5000 contractual employees will be taken, whereas under BJP thousands of people lost their works and promise of regularization of contractual employees are forgotten.

Amid BJP’s massive failure to give 50000 Govt jobs in first one year, Pratima Bhowmik said that Modi has given freedom to the people of Tripura and once she becomes MP then no more crisis will be existing in Tripura. She continued to hit the CPI-M MPs saying they used to sleep in the Parliament.

However, Bhowmik who is striving day-night to win the MP seat, on yesterday her opponent rival candidate sitting MP Shankar Prasad Datta faced attacks 4 times led CPI-M to complain Election Commission. Many were injured in beating and stone pelting.

MP Jitendra Chaudhury today following the brutal attacks on Pratima Bhowmik’s rival candidate Shankar Prasad Datta amid Election Commission’s mode code of conduct said, “Pelting is BJP’s new trend and the constitution is silent”.

Even in case of Assembly Election 2018’s election result day, where her rival at Dhanpur constituency was ex-CM Manik Sarkar the counting did not end till latenight and from her followers massive verbal attacks Manik Sarkar had been continued till he was waiting for the counting result on spot. Similarly, West Tripura is her aspired seat and she wants to become central minister after becoming MP, where CPI-M sitting MP Shankar Prasad Dutta was attacked multiple times and organized attacks on yesterday has exposed once again criminality inside BJP’s politics led by Pratima Bhowmik.

Pratima Bhowmik has been accused of her own brother’s wife’s murder and also BJP leader, ex-leader raised question on her nexus with drug-empire.

Pratima Bhowmik was allegedly responsible for attacks upon opposition in last 1 year where above 2000 opposition activists were seriously injured and 6 were killed and many people’s houses, properties were burnt. Also she without having any official position directly controls official matters of Biplab Deb’s Govt. Top BJP leaders have resigned from party after BJP nominated her as MP candidate.

She is the main cause, along with CM Biplab Deb led party’s indiscipline situation. Pratima Bhowmik has submitted nomination today for West Tripura’s MP seat for BJP.

She is also the general secretary of State BJP, was defeated in last Assembly Election with Manik Sarkar at Dhanpur constituency. However, she is quite controversial figure in Tripura politics was the accused of her own brother’s wife’s murder. Few more cases were lodged against here during CPI-M era for anti-social works.

Also BJP MLA Surajit Dutta has alleged her nexus with drug mafias of the state. At the same time, Pratima Bhowmik has disputed property which is unmatched with her earning.

Her family made multi-crores properties in last 1 year which is abnormal and matter of inquiry.

However, here is a bad news for Pratima Bhowmik as in an unprecedented order, the Supreme Court on Tuesday directed that election candidates, after filing their nominations, should repeatedly make declarations in print and electronic media at the constituency level about any criminal antecedents even as it stopped short of debarring those charged with heinous crimes from contesting polls.

The court recommended that Parliament urgently enact legislation to prevent tainted criminals from becoming lawmakers and while it did not change the law, it hit on the innovative method of getting candidates and their parties to publicise pending criminal cases that often remain encased in election affidavits. A Constitution bench of CJI Dipak Misra and Justices R F Nariman, A M Khanwilkar, D Y Chandrachud and Indu Malhotra said the “self publicity” would help curb criminalisation of politics.

Supreme Court called the criminalisation of politics a termite eating into the edifice of constitutional governance. Summing up the court’s concerns, the CJI said, “The country feels agonised when money and muscle power become the supreme power. Substantial efforts have to be undertaken to cleanse the polluted stream of politics by prohibiting people with criminal antecedents so that they do not even conceive of the idea of entering into politics”.

BJP’s dedicated Dhanpur Mandal President Ranjit Majumder’s murder was also mysterious which uplifted Pratima Bhowmik politically in the space.
