AGARTALA, Feb 22 (TIWN): After Tripura High Court Hon Justice Subhashis Talapatra on Friday had issued stay order on BJP Govt’s dictatorship notice against opposition SFI student wing’s book stall at Agartala Book Fair. Biplab Deb’s Saffron Mafia banned SFI’s book stalls illegally few days back but High Court’s ruling now defeated JUMLA rulers. SFI through a press conference told BJP, “We (SFI) donot need to learn how to love nation from BJP, RSS who are destroying India’s Democracy. High Court’s order has proven that country’s real enemies and anti-nationalists are BJP and RSS, who do not obey the constitution, rather had put SFI under intrigue to prove as anti-national”. According to High Court’s order under police protection SFI’s book stall was opened in the evening. Addressing media, SFI State Secretary Sandipan Deb said, “Our book stall since the starting was under severe pressures and attacks. MP Shankar Prasad Dutta had inaugurated our book stall on the first day of book fair February 15.

But we observed as soon as we opened the stall, few people were burning thinking how in such a broad space SFI opened their stalls whereas across Colleges students are suppressed and muted, attacked according to ruling party’s wish. Thus a section of people lost their mind totally and started playing various intrigues led them to question on Gujarat Files and other books”.

“We believe, we do not have to learn what is called nationalism from BJP and RSS. They are unconstitutional and enemy of the nation, whereas SFI are the true followers of freedom fighters as Surya Sen, Bhagat Singh”, he said.

“What they have done it is against constitution. Last year, they didn’t allow us to open book stalls and this year they were bound to allow us for stalls. After we opened the book stalls they played as much as intrigue they could play. We trust, the way we protested for our rights was under total democratic way and we obeyed the constitution and here lies the difference between them (BJP) and us (SFI)”, Deb told media.

“Today ICAT and Fair authority were bound to open our stalls. When Tripura’s culture and tradition were on this verge of destruction on that time, this order from High Court and our moral victory will help the upcoming democratic movements”, Sandipan deb added.
