AGARTALA, Feb 22 (TIWN): Ahead of Lok Sabha Election Prime Minister Narendra Modi has increased EPF interest and announced Rs. 6000 for farmers annually and Tripura BJP Govt has announced this as a “historical decision”. However, that Rs 6000 payment promises most likely to remain a JUMLA till it’s actually paid before Lok Sabha Election which is scheduled April /May’19.“I want to congratulate PM Modi for his historical decision”, Chief Minister Biplab Deb told media. The Employees' Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) Thursday hiked the Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) rate by 0.10 per cent to 8.65 per cent for 2018-19 from 8.55 per cent last year. The rate has been hiked for the first time since 2016. The move to increase the EPF interest rate is set to benefit six crore EPFO subscribers. The Central Board of Trustees (CBT) revised the EPF interest rates at its meet much against the expectations of a status quo on the same. The move once given a go ahead by the Finance Ministry will be notified by the Labour Ministry.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate on February 24 the government scheme of giving Rs 6,000 annual financial assistance to farmers which was announced in the interim budget, but from Tripura even though 60 people were targeted to be sent at Gorakhpur in UP, it could not happen due to lack of train and flight services in that route.Total 25 people will join the rally.

However, BJP has expressed extreme pleasure on Modi’s decision of giving Rs. 6000 rupees to the farmers.

The first installment of Rs 2,000 will be credited in farmers' accounts by the prime minister at the proposed Kisan Maha Adhiveshan at Fertilizer ground at Gorakhpur.
The two-day farmers' conclave will be inaugurated by BJP president Amit Shah on February 23.

Offers are there for Tripura’s unemployed youths too. Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh has permitted for special relaxation for Tripura job aspirants that instead of 10th passed, now the 8 passed people can appear in that interview.

Total numbers of posts are 2014 and 25% for outsiders and 10% relaxation for women.

But when the recruitment will be started, it’s not sure. Govt also promised 50000 Govt jobs in first one year of Govt formation whereas BJP Govt’s one year to be completed in next month.
