AGARTALA, Feb 21 (TIWN): Upcoming Lok Sabha Election’s result fear has gripped Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb already before few months are left that public will cast their votes and that lack of confidence was visible when he claimed, ‘Modi doesn’t have Anti-incumbency against him among public, which means people do not want to listen anything against Prime Minister Narendra Modi’. Just 12 days back, PM Modi was received in Northeast with black flags and in Tripura two times public gave 100% response to opposition called strikes. Farmers have hit Delhi streets and here Biplab Deb who is suffering from lack of support with 11 months of Govt formation said that common men still love PM Modi as earlier. On January 8, PM Modi was welcomed by black flags and balloons in Agartala whereas across Nation protest geared up #GoBackNarendraModi. In case of Tripura, the anti-incumbency is 100% visible according to the ground report as BJP before coming in power what said, has done exactly the opposite in last 11 months.

For unemployed youths BJP promised to give 50000 Govt jobs and house to house jobs, whereas the Govt has ended by cancelling all the existing recruitments. In verbal talks, BJP also promised to give jobs via “missed calls”

In case of employees and pensioners, BJP did an agreement of doubling salaries and pensions by giving 7th pay commission from 2016 effect. Govt after assuming power only increased 0.32 factor also from effect of 2018, October.

For pensioners nothing was hiked and also BJP Govt has imposed taxes on pensions. At the same time, the pension scheme was withdrawn for new job holders.

Wage was promised to be hiked at Rs. 340 with 200 days mandays assurance. Now CPI-M Govt’s 94% mandays percentage has downed at 33% under BJP Govt with no wage hike.

Rs. 2000 will be social pension was promised whereas no hike yet and beneficiaries lists have been slashed.

For the first time in Tripura’s history unemployed youths were arrested, students were arrested and books are banned in book-stalls marking as “Anti-National” for criticizing Modi.

Amid all such tornados and extreme hatred among masses generated against BJP Govt, however, Biplab Deb claimed, “No anti-incumbency against the Prime Minister among public”.
