AGARTALA, Jan 24 (TIWN): Tripurainfoway.com (TIWN) Editor Saumen Sarkar on Wednesday evening has slammed BJP’s attempt of politicalizing freedom fighters and hijacking their legacies, dedication for the country for political benefits. Addressing from USA, Saumen Sarkar said, “It’s indeed a great day for our nation India that such a great son took birth and dedicated his life for the country. Many such great leaders have been in India due to whose sacrifices got freedom in 1947. They all wanted our country to be a great country with principals, ideas, democratic values. But today for petty election goals these leaders’ ideologies are today politicized by JUMLA Party. Both Bose and Vivekananda have been misused by this JUMLA party in every platform to lure votes”.

“It pains me that the JUMLA party misused Swami Vivekananda and Netaji Subash Chandra Bose’s birth anniversary for such political coverage as if these leaders belong to this JUMLA party but the fact was Swamiji & Netaji both were against communal divisive forces”, Sarkar said.

“The BJP acted on Netaji Jayanti that Netaji belong to their ideology whereas the truth is Netaji was highly against communal forces. Netaji never tolerated Hindu Mahasabha, the origin of RSS as well as any divisive politics in the name of religion”, said the Editor.

“Netaji’s Azad Hind Fauz had forces belonging to various communities and from various religions. There was absolutely no glimpse of divisive policy”, said Saumen Sarkar.

“Today BJP boasted their party a lot under Netaji’s name, but did BJP or Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb learn any lesson from Netaji ? No”, he added.

“In reality BJP general secretary Pratima Bhowmik was accused for smuggling by BJP MLA Surajit Datta himself. Media, opposition people are attacking everyday. Even my old parents weren’t left. So, my question is, did Netaji Subhash Chnadra Bose taught JUMLA Party that flavor of Democracy ? Whether BJP is following Netaji’s ideology ? There is absolutely no democracy exiting Tripura but selling Netaji’s name BJP has done the politics at best”, said Sarkar.

“From 50,000 jobs in first 1 year to SMART phone for youths are far from fulfilling and thus they have now hijacked freedom fighter to hide own failure”, said Saumen Sarkar adding, “Being failed to fulfil all JUMLA, fake promises , failed to maintain the basic means of democracy and development”.
