AGARTALA, Jan 21 (TIWN): Central BJP leaders, national party figures are rushing now in Tripura keeping the Lok Sabha election ahead and State BJP is all set to begin campaigning for upcoming Lok Sabha election. BJP has targeted two “Lotuses” to bloom in Tripura whereas public resentments are fueling against BJP’s failure to fulfill the Vision Document laid promises, rather the Govt has been working at just the opposite direction with job slashing, cancellation of existing recruitment process. About law and order even though Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Statehood day said, it has developed but in reality the Govt is engaged in suppressing the crime records which are done by none other than ruling BJP activists with Jirania violence has been the latest example. Apart from that former Minister of the opposition was slapped by BJP young people, CPI-M State Secretary Gautam Das, Congress leader Birjit Sinha and many more leaders faced similar attack and day-night attack on opposition activists are continuing. State already has witness worst form of Democracy via two local body elections’ rigging.Amid “emergency” like situation in Tripura, followed 4 days internet connectivity was cut here after massive violence in Jirania, the Biplab Deb has been claiming that under BJP Govt good governance is existing in Tripura.

BJP even though far from fulfilling its Vision Documents promises, unemployment problems have spiked up in 10 months and everyday lawless attacks are going on, but has started party propaganda without any meaningful “report card” in hand. Earlier, in Panchayat and Municipal election, BJP came in open rigging and didn’t allow opposition to fight the election. Mass resentment increased huge in last 10 months. From unemployed youths to poor people, the vote banks for BJP to be tough in the upcoming Lok Sabha election.General elections are due to be held in India between April and May 2019 to constitute the 17th Lok Sabha. The elections can be held at an earlier date if the Council of Ministers recommends dissolution of the 16th Lok Sabha to the President of India. However, Amit Shah already once held a rally and also PM Modi to visit Tripura shortly. BJP like other states, not leaving any stone unturned to gain vote banks.

When statewide unemployment problems are reeling the state, corruptions in recruitment, recruitment of IT persons without interviews are fueling resentment. Tripura’s unemployment toll which was 15% under the previous Govt and people voted BJP to power to decrease it but now the trend of unemployment has spiked up at 28%. Since around April month, 2018 Tripura has been in national media for wrong reasons. Yesterday Chief Minister Biplab Deb once again turned viral after he asserted that those who criticized him for his “Internet theory” are Anti-Nationalists. Tripura’s being in headline for wrong reason was centered with one person i.e. Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb from his gaffes as “Internet was existing in Mahabharata’s time” to “Diana Hayden was unworthy to be Miss World” and “Sonamura is a District, where ships will come”. With the increasing unemployment problem in Tripura, resentment, frustration have been spiked up among the jobless youths and resentment brewed among Govt job aspirants whose jobs were not only cancelled half-done but the future job opportunities were also snatched by Govt notification. The unemployed youths thus left with only options as rearing cows and opening paan shops, which was also Chief Minister Biplab Deb's suggestion for 7 lakh unemployed youths.

On the other side, Chief Minister Biplab Deb has started gradually telling people outside that industry has been brought in Tripura  by BJP Govt, whereas the reality is harsh. In 2019 due to election first 3 months almost Govt depts left without recruitment but after the election since March to now December no recruitment except few in Tripura schools were done and for that reason, Education dept was showcaused by Finance Dept why recruitments were done. Over 8000 half done recruitments were cancelled after BJP Govt assumed in power and those posts were never reinitiated for fulfilling, whereas in BJP’s Vision Document published by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, it was clearly said that once BJP will be in power, it will recruit 50,000 unemployed youths in various Govt Depts in the first year but almost 10 months have been gone, so far no recruitment was proceeded, rather 2018 left as a  year for Tripura’s 7 lakhs unemployed youths almost without recruitment.
