Net connection was extended for ‘undisrupted’ Delhi visit of state leaders

AGARTALA, Jan 12 (TIWN): The internet connectivity in Tripura was cut due to law and order problems, but it was extended for 48 hours (not 24) suddenly so that Ministers, CM, leaders can have an undisrupted visit at Delhi, said State Govt source.

However, the internet cutdown in dictator manner was slammed by many BJP supporters also and exposed failed Home Dept under Chief Minister Biplab Deb.

Indigenous parties are undergoing ADC strike demanding Biplab Deb’s resignation from Home Dept as well as Chief Ministry.

Minister and leaders and huge numbers of activists of BJP are now at Delhi where they attending BJP National Convention being held at Ramlila Maidan at there.

Already during Delhi visits BJP vs BJP power tussle has caused Section 144 and 24 hours strike in the heart of the capital city Agartala.
