AGARTALA, Jan 6 (TIWN): Insecurity of Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb on "Govt job slashing" and termination of contractual employees are visible in his each speech.Amid heavy increase in the unemployment rate, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb has claimed that Tripura is undergoing massive entrepreneurship under his ruling and 4000 youths became self-employed.
“Before BJP Govt, youths in Tripura couldn’t think about self-employment, but now they are no more dependent on Govt jobs”, Deb said at Astabal field during Amit Shah’s rally.
“Now Govt jobs happen only through transparent recruitment policy, via TET just like recently CPI-M ex-MLA Jhumu Sarkar also got a job, which was unthinkable in CPI-M’s time that opposition supporter will get job”, he claimed.
Noteworthy, after BJP assuming in power 29 ongoing recruitments under TPSC were cancelled and all existing half-done recruitments were too cancelled under this Govt except Law Dept and against Law Dept provided jobs already corruption allegation came and youths filed case in High Court.
Moreover, Govt by official order has asked departments not to appoint any more Govt employee unless anybody goes in retirement or surrenders.
