Biplab Deb’s gaffes continue Entertainment for frustrated 7 lakhs unemployed youths in Tripura

AGARTALA, Dec 19 (TIWN): For 7 lakhs unemployed youths in Tripura, Chief Minister Biplab Deb even though couldn’t arrange job opportunities, but his gaffes have been continuing amusements for them. The hopes of over 8,000 job aspirants who almost got their appointment letters were devastated by Govt order on the cancellation of existing jobs which included TPSC’s ongoing jobs and Govt has brought another fresh jolt by its latest order from the Finance Dept slashing all vacant posts, minimizing the chances of future job opportunities unless one employee goes in retirement. According to Biplab Deb Govt there are enough numbers of Govt employees and there is no more need on that. However, when state is suffering from massive unemployment, Biplab Deb is as always busy with his Delhi visits and habituated returning in “empty hands”. Gaffeprone Chief Minister Biplab Deb while talking to a national TV on Tuesday said that “Sadar is a District”, whereas Sadar is subdivision.Earlier, Biplab Deb had said that Sonamura is a District and ship will come soon there, whereas Sonamura is also a subdivision.In the 9 months of BJP ruling in Tripura, Chief Minister Biplab Deb said around 30 gaffes from “Internet was existing in Mahabharata’s time to Diana Hayden was unworthy to be Miss World”.

 When analysis about BJP’s drop at national level raised, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb’s chief negative contribution in damaging party’s image nationally gets one of the most valid points.

For over months, immediately after Govt formation in Tripura, controversies erupted across media, social media with Chief Minister Biplab Deb’s gaffes one after one starting from “Internet was existing in Mahabharata’s time”.

For around 2 months continuously BJP Chief Minister Biplab Deb was in national media headlines for wrong reasons in reactions of his bizzare comments. Videos, jokes, cartoon on Biplab Deb are still  popular domains of public time pass political jokes and he yet to make a full stop in his gaffe-rows.

Even in the parliament Rahul Gandhi’s speech on unemployment and Modi era, Biplab Deb’s paan-shop, cow-rearing theories were raised which adjourned the Assembly.

However, after damaging BJP’s national image in Tripura also he successfully converted BJP from the most popular party into the most JUMLA-party, which recently was added by Biplab Deb’s claim of “Ships will come in Sonamura via river Gomati” to “MBA means marketing and selling of products”.

1) On April 14, 2018 at Agartala ONGC complex Ambedkar Statue inauguration, CM claimed Chabimura can be made better than Amazon river basin, also Amazon is located in Africa. It was first jolt of humour released by him in a big occasion citing Amazon is located in Africa,

2) On April 7,2018 CM said, internet was existing in Mahbharata's time and due to internet, Sanjay was depicting about the Kurukshetra was to a blind king. He said,  "Not US and other Western Countries, but the internet was invented by India before lakhs of years. Today US can claim it's their technology, but it's actually our and they borrowed our knowledge".

3) On April 26,2018 CM said India's 1997 beauty queen Diana Hayden was unworthy to be considered as Miss World as she doesn't look like Laxmi and Sarswati. On that CM also suggested to use soil instead of soap, as it has no cosmetic chemical,

4) On the next day (April 27, 2018) i.e. Civil Service Day, Biplab Deb said, "Mechanical engineers should not opt for Civil Service, rather Civil engineers must go for it as they have civic sense".

5) On the next day (April 28, 2018) CM asked the state's youths to start paan-shop or to rear cows in home to get rod of unemployment,

6) Speaking at a programme in Agartala Buddha Purnima on April 30, Biplab Deb said Gautam Buddha walked across India and went to countries like Japan, Myanmar and Tibet to spread the message of peace and harmony.

7) On May 1,2018 CM hit another controversy saying "I will chop-off nails of my govt's critics" during a programme at Pragna Bhawan

8) On May 11,2018 CM Biplab Deb said, Rabindranath Tagore gave up his nobel prize to protest against British rule during Rajashi Utsav in Udaipur (Gomati Tripura),

9)  On May 20, 2018: CM called Himanta Biswa Sarma as a Doctor during NEDA conclave at Guwahati,

10) On June 26,2018 on the occasion of International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking said all promises of Vision Document will be fulfilled by not from his pocket but from public taxes.

11) On July 4,2018 when state had been hit with mob-lynching episodes, Biplab Deb said at Agartala Airport renaming programme he is feeling "Anand Ki Leher". 

12) On July 6,2018 during Deoghar Express's flag off programme, CM said, Tripura has 10 Districts, whereas in reality it's 8 only.

13) On July 28,2018 the Chief Minister said, "If youths go to gym, they will become Dipa Karmakar and if they go to drugs they will be in jail".

14) On August 25,2018 CM said, on 50 years of completion people celebrate Silver-Jubilee and Tripura will too do on 2022 on 50 years of statehood day.

15) The latest release of gaffe was on Sunday, Aug 27,2018 at Neermahal, Tripura which is right now hot national comedy news feed after CM said, "Ducks increases oxygen in water body by swimming". 

The comedies have been continuing with more gaffes as “30 days make 3 months”, “ship will arrive in Sonamura” etc “Sonamura, Sadar are Districts, working as major contribution in BJP’s negative publicity. 

TIWN Editor Saumen Sarkar challenged Chief Minister Biplab Deb to display his BA pass degree at Tripura University in 1999 in public domain, hence he is yet to do that.
