AGARTALA, Dec 18 (TIWN): Power tussle between Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb and Health Minister Sudip Barman is turning critical ahead of Lok Sabha election.

After Chief Minister Biplab Deb raised question on the ongoing ‘Blood Crisis’ amid Health Minister Sudip Barman’s day-night inauguration of blood donation camps which is somehow minimizing Biplab Deb’s publicity, Sudip Barman today while addressing in a blood donation camp at Tripura Medical & Nursing College Karmachari ‘s programme said that Health Dept will make the blood availability more transparent so that nobody can “spread rumours”.

“On 29^th December we have organized a meeting in the Town Hall where decisions will be taken on how to utilize and store, supply bloods so that technically there would be less blood crisis”, said Sudip Barman.

Barman also added, from Secretariat Dept will see the blood uses. Such technical development will be met soon and blood will be used in coming days according to the needs of the patients like “which element of the blood, the patient exactly needs” that will be given according to the criticality.

“Allegation was raised where are the blood units going after so many camps. In this way a confusion can be easily generated among the people. So, I am going to cut the confusion and end such attempts of spreading rumours”, Barman said.

The stand from the Health Minister came after Chief Minister Biplab Deb in a blood donation camp recently raised question, whereas other big states hardly conduct blood donation camps, but Tripura having so many blood donation camps suffering from blood crisis and such things should be checked properly. Deb blamed Health Dept for blood crisis.
