CHURAIBARI, Dec 15 (TIWN): Woman Panchayat Secretary was assaulted at Churaibari by around 25 men in the Panchayat office itself.

The whole episode was done by ruling party activists led by BJP local leaders 1) Jyotish Das and 2) Babul Nath.

According to the ground report, huge numbers of youths with BJP kariyakartas name entered the Panchayat office and started questioning why MGNREGA works are stopped at there.

On that time Panchayat Secretary Rina Sinha and GRS Bidhan Chandra Nath were present. When an argument started, between them the miscreants stretched Rina Sinha’s clothes and assaulted her.

Also the GRS was beaten but police denied to take any FIR against the miscreants and from BDO also no support was received.
