AGARTALA, Sep 13 (TIWN): Just 6 months ago BJP won Tripura election but what happened in 6 months that the party leaders are afraid of facing the Election ? Was it EVM magic or muscle, money power that the party won election in February 2018 ? Tripura Ex-CM Manik Sarkar, Congress President Birjit Sinha both said, BJP is afraid of its fake pre-poll promises and know people will not vote for the party and as a result open election rigging are going on. Tripura never experienced such autocracy by ruling party centering poll either in Panchayat or in Press clubs and BJP’s madness not leaving its own ally IPFT too. This time BJP couldn’t claim that “new BJP” activists have done this, after TIWN exposed how MLA Ram Prasad Pal himself was involved in open rigging of oppositions with 500 BJP activists at Dukli block. As a result from ruling BJP no clarification could be given in its defence. Agartala Press Club election has also happened in the same way and senior journalists are mocking “Press club Election” is just like BJP’s rigging in “Panchayat Election”. Not only in Agartala press Club, but in other subdivisions’ press clubs same thing happened.

With another shame BJP’s political ally IPFT said that it's shocked, hurt with BJP's "behaviour" and "tortures". After 6 months of Govt formation following various clashes among both the allies, IPFT spokesman Mangal Debbarma has announced this before media on Wednesday. IPFT also declared, they (IPFT) will battle the Lok Sabha Election all alone !

"We never expected such behaviours from BJP. We thought it will be a friendly battle. BJP's internal decision we don't know but the outcomes are so violent against us. We were only giving candidates in few seats, but for that also our supporters are massively beaten, which shows where democracy is standing today. BJP will go in it own path we will go in our path. We got a new lesson from the so called BJP friends. We have received enough lessons from various attacks and tortures of BJP and in next time we'll plan our steps from that lesson", Debbarma told media. 

 Congress President Birajit Sinha said, “"Not only the opposition party leaders and members were attacked by BJP workers, the supporters of the junior partner of the ruling party, IPFT, too were attacked”.

Ex-CM Manik Sarkar has termed Biplab Deb's Govt as "Jungle Raj”.

 "It's really sad that earlier, Tripura was known for good governance and now it's recognizing newly to the nation. A total slaughtering of Democracy is going on. I thank people who amid much threats gave answer to the ruling party by observing strike without any opposition's propaganda. May be BJP is not taking any risk to fight the election and know they will be defeated if fight",  Manik Sarkar said.
