AGARTALA, Aug 30 (TIWN): After CPI-M’s misery of 25 yrs, BJP Govt’s FAKE promises, dismal performance only suffocating masses. With 5+ months passed since the formation of 1st BJP govt in Tripura, poor people living in Tripura are now passing their lives in miserable conditions . Where one goes, there are crisis for works and crisis for money . But who cares ? The newly formed BJP govt and its leaders are still busy in attending FELICITATION ceremonies and having delicious lunch/dinner with some special persons. With the patronages from highest level of BJP leaders, a group of people are earning money by adopting illegal &unauthorised means. No one bothers for law as the persons involved in illegal activities are either closed to CM or any other minister or BJP's top level leaders . As such almost everywhere extortion of money has now become an everyday affair( since 4th March this year). TIWN's team witnessed the rural economy in Tripura has almost collapsed recently .

And the snail space of MGNREGA work is the main reasons for this crippling economical condition of the poor folk . 

Ever since the formation of the new govt on 9th March BJP minsters and MLAs are having unending honemoon with very litttle care for the poorer section of the society . No one seems to visit the houses of the common people to have a glimpse how the poor are living . During the last 5 months only 5/6 days of works were allocated under MGNREGA , but at the end of August people were supposed get at least 30-40 days of works . 

Unfortunately , this year Tripura's graph regarding MGNREGA implementation is on degrading note .There is no denying of the fact that CPIM party and its leaders looted MGNREGA fund . But gone are those days . People of Tripura have overthrown them from power with the huge expectation that BJP will implement Prime Minister Narendra Modi's dream project of Sabkasaathsabka Vikash to bring development in the truest sense of the term . 

Rural economy is the backbone of society . Without it a backward state like Tripura can't never progress . MGNREGA provides the poor section of the society cash in hand after regular intervals . In the so-called Vission Document BJP party announced that MGNREGA salary will be increased from Rs 165/-/day to Rs340/-/day . Indeed, the bulk of this group believed in this pre-poll promise and the end result was the historic win of Tripura . 

The Vision Document of Tripura BJP was released by none other than the Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Feb 11,2018 one week before Election . One would have obvious reasons to believe that hike in MGNREGA will be possible . But now after the elction is over, no one in BJP seems to be interested in keeping the promise . CM, Dy. CM ,Health Minister, BJP MLAs and leaders- all are busy in befooling the people with the false promise of 7th CPC . 

TIWN has been publishing news about anything unjust being done to the people with the true spirit of nationalism . That's why TIWN has gained extreme popularity and now the situation is such that educated society's firstprefence is Tripurainfoway. Quite naturally , TIWN too has its responsibilities to raise voice in the interests of the grassroot people and following this ethics TIWN has launched Special Drive to focus on the performances of this BJP-IPFT govt during the last 6 months . 

Based on the ground realities we can easily claim with responsibility that so far this govt has proved itself as an utter failure . However, CM Biplab Kumar Deb has attained nationalmotormouth fame over his foolish statements . People have already started questioning about the education and intelligence level of CM.

These days BJP leaders are simply telling lies with the people of Tripura forgetting about the promises it gave during the election campaign . One ca easily remember the words uttered by PM Narendra Modi, BJP National President Amit Shah , Sunil Deodhar and almost all the national and state  leaders ,"Once BJP comes to power our govt. will put the thieves of MGNREGA fund behind the bars( aagar BJP sarkar bantihai to hum MGNREGA ke jo fund luterahain , un sab ko jail kisalakhonkepichedalenge . " But soon after coming to power BJP seems to have been cheating with the people as the current govt does not have any intention to hand over MGNREGA scam into the hands of CBI .Rather, CM Biplab , using his Delhi lobby, has brought back the most corrupt IAS Officer G.S.G.Ayangaar back to Tripura . During Manik Sarkar's regime,Ayangaar used to be the mastermind of various irregularities along with S.K.Panda . 

If one looks at all these situations, it is unlikely that BJP govt will increase MGNREGA wages from its existing Rs 165/- a day to Rs340/ a day . Even before Lok Sabha Poll the possibility of this type of hike is nothing but a Drammabazi. Rightly the opposition say,"Presently the state is being run by a JUMLA party led by stylish CM Biplab Kr. Deb . "
