506 TSR job aspirants left without offer letters even after selection, verification : Other states’ candidates slammed Tripura’s Job Recruitment System

AGARTALA, Aug 17 (TIWN): Termination of all ongoing recruitment process turning heavy upon the BJP Govt as other states’ candidates are also hit by new BJP Govt’s cabinet decision. Confusions over Tripura’s job recruitment process turning critical day by day, since BJP govt has cancelled all the recruitment process. The various recruitments under Govt Depts in Tripura which were going very unsystematically since the previous CPI-M Govt’s time added by BJP Govt’s mad-announcement of cancellation of all existing recruitments. Such decision are now also erupting resentment among the candidates who passed interviews from other states. 506 job aspirants of TSR were selected in 2016, also verifications were done, but when everything was set the candidates were never served with offer letters. Around 60 outside candidates were selected from West Bengal who are frequently visiting the state to check the development, costing them heavily due to the high fare rates of the trains and flights. Addressing the media in front of CM’s quarter, the outside Job aspirants who came to meet Chief Minister Biplab Deb said, “Why the system is so complex in Tripura? No other state in India is like Tripura”.

“Before this, for more two times we have visited Tripura. 134 at All India level candidates and from Tripura total 372 candidates total-506 candidates were selected for TSR but till now we are not given with offer letters. So, our question is how many times we have to come here to get OUR offer letters? Already two times we visited earlier and this is third time”, they said.

“No state in India does like this. We didn’t know any Minister, rather it is our right to sit the exam. We were selected with no recommendation from any Minister or Political leader. We were selected with our own talents, police verification was also done. So, why our offers are getting delayed ?”, they said.

Second Bn Commandant Timir Das said that there is no information yet about cancellation of recruitment and said the things are under process.

“How many times, we have to come here ? It’s  becoming impossible to bear the expenses”, the angry job aspirants told media.
