AGARTALA, Aug 16 (TIWN): As no political party could relieve the youths from jobless, industry-less, hopelessness situation exiting in Tripura since decades, now youths’ voice have remained silent. Since the CPI-M era, from High Court to Supreme Court ray of hopes ushered and youths anti-corruption wave was supported ideologically by the then opposition BJP. But after coming power, BJP’s Jumla-strike has further shocked, frustrated youths with massive job cuts, cancellation of existing job recruitments and most importantly Chief Minister Biplab Deb’s long motivational speeches on business, industry for which youths were never prepared. Due to various reasons industrialization never came in the state and as a result govt jobs have been valued here always. Moreover before the election, BJP talked long on the 50,000 vacant posts but after the election’s 5 months so far no recruitments are happening properly. All these have frustrated job aspirants of the state, going in no-trust motion against all political parties. Young people are asking, “What can the Govt do in 5 years, if it could not to in 5 months ?”

After 25 years of allegations and agitations, Tripura voted BJP in power, but seeing the 5 months of all negative decisions and hopeless era under Chief Minister Biplab Deb Tripura is now moving towards “Nota” mode.

In the last election, even people who are living outside the state, they also came in Tripura to vote but will then come anymore ?

Tripura BJP Govt has changed pension policy, stopped recruitments and finally cancelled all ongoing recruitments. Unemployment toll is spiking up, with Chief Minister Biplab Deb’s “paan shop” controversy and his suggestions like “Mechanical Engineers should not go for Civil Services”, “selling of bricks and soils” etc.
