AGARTALA, Aug 15 (TIWN):Biplab Deb’s JUMLA promises like 7 lakhs Jobs withtin first 30 months continue unabatedly without ground reality. When unemployed youths are demanding Govt jobs, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb continues his gaffes about Tripura soon emerging as a ‘business hub’. Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Tuesday while addressing in a blood donation camp at Ekata Club of Agartala said, once Feni river bridge will be opened since 2019, December Tripura will become a business hub and no other state except Tripura will be considered as the gateway of Northeast after that. CM said, Tripura will become a Business hub from 2020 as soon as the Feni river bridge will be inaugurated, but problem is Tripura youths unready to believe any promise by the politicians and all they want is "Job".

The gaffes didn’t end here, but he further comforted youths that once smart city project will be started then youths will get lots of works.

“In Vision Document whatever we have promised will be fulfilled. We promised house to house incomes and it will be fulfilled. We are going to start Rs. 3000 crores of SMART City project and once we start the project, bricks will be needed, sands will be needed, camera will be fitted. When such things will happen in the state, who will earn the money ? Agartala youths only.

“But the previous CPI-M govt pushed the society to earn from ganja, phensedyl etc. Now, when we are stopping all those illegal things, they are putting objection in that”, CM said.

"My communist friends also opposed the New Recruitment Policy in the Assembly”, he added. On the other side, unemployed youths, who were jolted with the sudden cancellation of ongoing recruitment process may knock High Court, various sources said. Not only a section of TCS job aspirants who were striving already in the High Court since the previous Govt’s time will re-knock the High Court but also police job aspirants are thinking to take law’s help to save their recruitment process.

Since the Election period, recruitments which were stopped had been postponed by new BJP Govt and after 5 months suddenly one day Law Minister Ratan Lal Nath on August 3 had announced that all the ongoing recruitment processes have been cancelled led mass anger and resentment among job aspirants, who were focused on Govt jobs indeed, due to lack of industries in the State.

Before the Election, BJP said there are 50,000 vacancies left in the Govt Dept but after it came in power instead of recruiting terminations are going on. Youths have demanded faster recruitment and reinstall all the existing recruitment process.
