AGARTALA, Aug 14 (TIWN): "JUMLA" promises of BJP politicians continue ahead of Lok Sabha Election. Instead of mentioning Govt’s plan for 7 lakhs Jobs within first 30 months & job recruitment, amid massive cancellation of ongoing recruitment process, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Tuesday said, “In Vision Document whatever we have promised will be fulfilled. We promised house to house incomes and it will be fulfilled. We are going to start Rs. 3000 crores of SMART City project and once we start the project, bricks will be needed, sands will be needed, camera will be fitted. When such things will happen in the state, who will earn the money ? Agartala youths only”. “But the previous CPI-M govt pushed the society to earn from ganja, phensedyl etc. Now, when we are stopping all those illegal things, they are putting objection in that. My communist friends also opposed the New Recruitment Policy in the Assembly”, he added. However, CM didn’t mention how many vacancies will be fulfilled in this years, infact no constructive data was given by him during his long speech about house-to-house jobs.

CM further claimed once Feni river bridge will be opened since 2019, December Tripura will become a business hub and no other state except Tripura will be considered as the gateway of Northeast after that.

On the other side, unemployed youths, who were jolted with the sudden cancellation of ongoing recruitment process may knock High Court, various sources said. Not only a section of TCS job aspirants who were striving already in the High Court since the previous Govt’s time will re-knock the High Court but also police job aspirants are thinking to take law’s help to save their recruitment process.

Since the Election period, recruitments which were stopped had been postponed by new BJP Govt and after 5 months suddenly one day Law Minister Ratan Lal Nath on August 3 had announced that all the ongoing recruitment processes have been cancelled led mass anger and resentment among job aspirants, who were focused on Govt jobs indeed, due to lack of industries in the State. Chief Minister Biplab Deb has dreamt a “Model State”, a state free from “Addiction”, but what the young people need is “A Job”, a secured “Future” and immediate recruitments in Govt Depts.

CM said, Tripura will become a Business hub from 2020 as soon as the Feni river bridge will be inaugurated, but problem is Tripura youths unready to believe any promise by the politicians and all they want is "Job".

Long long claims were done since CPI-M’s era with Palatana power plant inauguration, which however resulted all outsiders job-section. From Urea plant to South East Asia gateway terms applauded each time the youths but result is Tripura tops in unemployment rate.

Visions with Queen Pineapple may entertain the people who are already settled in life, but not for the unemployed youths.

Unemployment rate is further increasing in state with more graduates and HS passed outs in this year. Centre For Monitoring Indian Economy Pvt. Ltd (CMIE) monthly report has once again topped Tripura with 22.8 %, which is not only highest in the country but also at least 6 % more than the second ranking state in unemployment Haryana 16.8 %.

Before the Election, BJP said there are 50,000 vacancies left in the Govt Dept but after it came in power instead of recruiting terminations are going on. Youths have demanded faster recruitment and reinstall all the existing recruitment process.
