AGARTALA, June 18 (TIWN): Biplab Deb, Ratan Lal Nath to all loud mouth BJP Politicians lost their stock of PAKODA promises, as well lost credibility to face public so now dumped this bitter job to Non-Politician Ashok Sinha. None of the pre-election vision documents items were even initiated, neither any hope for FREE CELL PHONES FOR ALL YOUTHS, GET A JOB BY GIVING A MISSED CALL bluffs which shamed even BJP's core leaders for fooling lakhs of Tripura public, 7 lakhs unemployed youths. When poorly paid state govt employees are undergoing financial tensions of retirement after 30 years of job, BJP spokesperson Ashok Sinha said, “Those employees who will not be physically fit for continuing their jobs, only they will be sent to voluntary retirement. Others do not have to worry”. Ashok Sinha also made it clear that no financial loss the person will face when he or she will be sent for voluntary retirement by state govt and with full benefits employees will be sent for retirement. However, the BJP leader didn’t made it clear how a person can been benefited “fully” if s/he goes in retirement before 10 years ??

How the Govt employees will recover the gap of around 5 to 10 years between his voluntary retirement time and actual retirement age, when salary hikes and pay commissions may be added ?? Most important question here raises which was not cleared by Ashok Sinha, “Who will judge the mental and physical fitness of that employees ? Neither Minister nor any High official can be100 % neutral. In this condition, who will judge the performance of govt employees ?”

However, Ashok Sinha said that such actions will elevate the work-culture of govt depts. Ashok Sinha also said , he talked to the Chief Minister regarding this.

Sinha raised the issue after CPI-M backed HAGABA employees charged the BJP Govt alleging Govt’s decision of sending employees in retirement is a kind of “revengeful” activity against the CPI-M supporter employees.

Counterattacking the allegation Ashok Sinha said, “Within 100 days completion all have been acknowledged that BJP is never revengeful, but in CPI-M era the HAGABA employees only entered the office for signature and rest of the day they all did politics, but govt employees have no link with politics. If they want to do politics, they should do it by sitting at home”.

The issue was raised after on 11th June, Addl Secretary Santosh Deb issued notification saying State Govt employees performance will be checked and state govt will decide whether to retain the employee or to send him/her to forced retirement/termination.

In the notification served by Santosh Das, Additional Secretary of Govt of Tripura on June 11,2018, it has been said, “The undersign is directed to say that there is need for periodical review of performance of govt servants with a view to ascertain whether the Government servant to be retained in service or retired from service in the public interest. The provision in this regard are contained in FR (56) (i) / Rule (48) (1) (b) of CCS Pension Rules 1972 (as adopted by the Govt of Tripura in the Finance Dept).

In pursuance of the Rules, the cases of Govt servants covered by FR (i) or Rule (48) (i) (b) of CCS (Pension Rules 1972 should be reviewed since 6 months before s/he attains the age of 50/55 or on the age of 30 years of qualifying services as per the following time table :

Half Yearly review : Cases of employees who will be attending at the age of 50/55 years or will be completing 30 years of service qualifying for pension, as the case may be, in the half-year,

1)     January  to June : July to December of the same year,

2)     July to December : January to June of the same year,

State govt has directed all the depts. to follow the steps and to take necessary action which is being seen as a stern warning to all Govt employees before actual retaliation.

Opposition CPI-M has alleged BJP Govt has constituted a ‘Monster-ruling’ system for Govt employees which says from 50/50 years or 30 years of service’s completion there will be service review of all govt employees. Addressing media at Melarmath Party office, CPI-M State Secretary Bijan Dhar raised question, “If Govt employees services are being reviewed, who will review the Ministers performance ? Will RSS review Ministers performance ?”

Counter-attacking CPI-M, Ashok Sinha said, those who want to do politics should be seated at homes.

Just like releasing FAKE promise filled VISION document Press Conference on Feb 11,2018, just 1 week before of Assembly Election held on Feb 18, BJP again using Ashok Sinha to rerpresnt Biplab Deb Govt which is already branded failure-prone after 100 Days except few dynamic Ministers like Sudip Roy Barman, Jishnu Devvarman.
