AGARTALA, June 13 (TIWN): Tripura CPI-M Ex Law Minister MLA Tapan Chakraborty on Wednesday has alleged under BJP-IPFT Govt, even the Indian constitution was not spared.
Issuing IPFT non-elected candidate Jibanjoy Reang’s control over Ganganagar block, Tapan Chakrbaorty said, “In the last Assembly Session, BJP MLAs sought proofs when we talked against the ongoing violence and violation of Law. Now, what will BJP say when Non-elected IPFT leader Jobanjoy Reang has been spotted ordering a BDO what to do & what not to do via official letters” ?
Tapan Chakraborty also mentioned, Village Chairman of Ganganagar block has written a letter to the DM asking :
- Who is BAC chairman of Ganganagar block ?
- If Jibanjoy Reang is the chairman then he belong to which ‘elected’ category ?
- If not, how he is monitoring the block ?
- If without election, a person can be posted as chairman, then is there any necessity of election ?
- Is party bigger than Govt ?
Tapan Chakraborty also said from allowances, to wage clearance all have been controlled by IPFT Monitoring Committee chairman Jibanjoy Reang ?
Jibanjoy Reang on 28th May also asked Banks not to release any wage/ allowance without his permission.
Tapan Chakraborty said, this is totally violation of Indian constitution and harassment to the common people is going on in this power tussles.
