AGARTALA, May 17 (TIWN): IPFT top leaders' low voice on yesterday's press meet and compromising with the ongoing protests, have been mocked by public across the state when BJP asked them to chose either ‘alliance’ or ‘Tipraland’. Even though NC Debbarma denied that CM didn’t ask him to break down the alliance, but the down voice of IPFT is now being enjoyed by the BJP supporters. On the other side, the ongoing BJP, IPFT clashes are now in national limelight. Within 2 months of the election, such ongoing clashes among BJP and IPFT have become merely a 'joke' when before election BJP was slamming the CPI-M for its failure to become 'close' to the deprived tribals. But when IPFT and BJP together formed a government in Tripura, the alliance between the two parties have become a contrast inside , provoking laughter among mass. Already the clash was highlighted in national media to hint the failure of the IPFT-BJP's alliance in Tripura's development.
On yesterday after around 5 hours long meeting at Nazrul Kalakshetra, IPFT President N C Debbarma said, “There is no question of breaking the alliance now. We will appeal the Govt of Tripura to temporarily stop all post allocations of BAC chairpersons in various blocks.
Media raised question, “What they will do if BJP never agrees with the land-division”. In reply, NC Debbarma clearly said, “Appealing the Govt for our rights will be our main path of protest”.
