AGARTALA, May 17 (TIWN): Resentments have brewed among a section of media persons after Tripura Govf lawyer in Sudip Datta Bhaumik murder case instead of demanding CBI to probe the murder case proceeded the whole case under SIT's chargesheet.Congress leader cum the advocate of Sudip Datta Bhaumik’s murder accused persons' Pijush Kanti Biswas told media very clearly, there is no doubt that CBI was denied by the state govt. "Because the govt was satisfied with SIT led investigation, so the lawyer didn't ask for any CBI investigation", Pijush Kanti Biswas said. In 2017 Tripura's two journalists were killed in separate incidents. On September 20, 2017, state’s TV journalist Santanu Bhaumik was killed. Manik Sarkar led govt however denied CBI in that's case.

After 31 days of Santanu’s murder senior journalist of Tripura Sudip Datta Bhaumik was killed brutally at the 2^nd Bn TSR headquarter.

The BJP as opposition demanded CBI in that murder case. When Manik Sarkar denied to handover the case to CBI then BJP promised that after coming in power BJP govt will hanover the case to CBI.

However, ray of hopes came on March 3^rd that immediately within 10 to 15 days so many people will be arrested, CBI is coming etc. But on March 10 verbally the state govt said that it will handover the cases to CBI, but till day no CBI has come even though 63 days have gone in vain.

In case of Unnao rape case Adityanath Yogi led BJP Govt immediately called CBI and thus Unnao is on the verge of being punished under law, but in case of Tripura only all " dramas" of politicians begin.

Questions are raising on the intention of the BJP led state govt whether it is interested to handover Tripura's killed journalist Sudip Datta Bhaumik murder case to CBI after Govt lawyer at the Add & Dist Session Judge Court No-2 asked to continue the hearings with the SIT submitted chargesheets. The court also has accepted the plea.

The witnesses will give their statements before the court on 17^th July, 2018. Total 64 witnesses will remain present in the court on that day.

But nowhere there was mention about CBI investigation. In behalf of the murder accused Lawyer Pijush Kanti Biswas (also a Congress leader) to lead the case, whereas he will be assisted by Advocate Mrinal Kanti Biswas.

After this issue was revealed, questions are raising regarding the motive of the BJP led state govt. If the BJP has trust upon SIT, then why so many dramas were staged by the BJP ahead of the election with journalists murder ?

Now, it’s also to be noticed how the state journalists react over the issue.

After 31 days of Tripura’s TV journalist Santanu Bhowmik’s murder, the print media journalist of Tripura of Sandyan newspaper Sudip Datta Bhaumik was killed brutally at the 2nd Bn TSR camp. The main accused in that murder was TSR 2^nd Bn Tapan Debbarma.

But the CPI-M led Govt denied CBI and formed SIT for the investigation of the murder case. On that time, BJP State Observer Sunil Deodhar said, “We don’t have trust on Police, neither we trust CID. We need CBI investigation in the murder”.

The BJP after forming Govt here, after the first cabinet meeting said that Journalists murder cases to be handover to CBI, but after 2 months of the govt formation, CBI is far away from Tripura in both the journalists murder cases !
