AGARTALA, April 25 (TIWN): With a major blow for the BJP Govt led by Chief Minister Biplab Deb, BJP’s ally i.e. Congress turn BJP wing ‘Tripura Govt Employees Federation’ committee members have expressed extreme resentment over the working process of the expert committee formed by BJP govt to implement 7th Pay Commission. In a press release, Samar Roy, Secretary of the Federation said, “The BJP Govt which has formed a committee to implement 7th pay commission, the working process and progress of the committee is not satisfactory. Committee is working beyond the trend of works. The Committee must take advise from various organizations or associations but the committee is taking advise from CPI-M backed organizations or association which had been constantly opposing the 7th pay commission”.

“The employees of the Federation who had been struggling for 7th pay commission, their advises have not been taken. The officials who sealed Left Govt's deprivation are now the BJP govt’s chief advisors”, Samar Roy said.

Noteworthy, for implementation of 7th Pay Commission CM held review meetings with Retied CS of Assam P P Verma and other members of the committee earlier announced. Total amount of Rs.1459.51 core fund is required, which would benefit more than 2 lakh employees  and pensioners. BJP Govt’s decision would ask from central govt around 7,297.55 crores of fund in each 5 years. On yesterday also P P Verma held a meeting with the Chief Minister but the employees are fueling as they were expecting high salaries under 7th Pay Commission from April month of the year.

The federation had been struggling for pay commission since the CPI-M era and ahead of election they also they added with BJP. Now, it's to be seen how the BJP-govt tackles their angers as they have alleged today that Expert Committee's works are "Not Satisfactory".
