AGARTALA, April 23 (TIWN): Tripura CPI-M Govt led rule of five years fixed-paid sufferings before regularization have left science graduate teachers without regularization since 6 years ! The teachers were to be regularized by 2017, month of June, but under the previous govt even after crossing of around 1 year after 5 years of fixed base jobs, the teachers were not regularized. Much protests, many deputations were placed before the Directors, Officers, Ministers. Recently, the teachers also met Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath demanding their regularization. The Minister also approved their demands verbally, saying govt is working in that direction. Today placing a deputation to the Director of Secondary Education U K Chakma, the teachers have demanded the same.

U K Chaka however told the teachers that there is no legal complication to regularize them. The teachers will again meet U K Chakma on next Monday.

Addressing the media, the teachers said, "We joined the job in 2012's July 12. We were said that after 5 years of fixed-scale service, we will be regularized. According to that rule, we were to be regularized on 2nd July, 2017".

"At the beginning the Education Dept said that from all schools, intimations had not come. Then after collecting the list, we went to each school and arranged intimation for regularization. Then when we came to the Education Dept, they said right now 2010's job related works are going on and they can't focus on our issue. With all those excuses, 6-7 months had gone but nobody thought about us. Thus demanding our immediate regularization without any delay, we have met the Director", he said.

"We have only 1 demand, that is, regularization from 2nd July 2017's effect. On next Monday we will again come to meet the Education Director", they said.
