AGARTALA, April 23 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb preferring GPS system, said, “Since last 40 years left govt failed to introduce traffic signals on roads. It’s a major shame for the state which is lagging far behind when world is ruled by GPSâ€. However, after PM Modi’s slap on BJP’s chatterboxes, CM didn’t claim anymore, "GPS was introduced by India".Recently, Tripura CM termed media and critics as Anti-national for criticizing him on his controversial “Internet-existing-in-Mahabharata†era.Yesterday PM Modi directed BJP lawmakers, not to attempt to get into everything and teach the country, rather than focusing on development. But before Modi’s remark, Tripura CM arranged interviews with various national media to prove his dangerous knowledge and continued 'whoever is Anti-National' have criticized me".
But question raises, when from facebook to whatsApp, GPS to internet everything they are hiring from US or Europe, then why do the same politicians insult those countries just for petty politics via "Indianess-Sentiments". Learning from countries developed India either under Rajeev Gandhi’s era or now in PM Modi’s era, but the arrogance of the RSS leaders have ruined the party image without much fault among the central leaders.
However, the Chief Minister has claimed within June 18, all streets will get traffic lights and modern technologies also will be introduced in state in coming days.
The Global Positioning System (GPS), originally Navstar GPS, is a satellite-based radionavigation system owned by the United States government and operated by the United States Air Force.
