AGARTALA, Feb 23 (TIWN): Pressuring too much upon PM Modi's "Niravata" on PNB scam, may cost Rose Valley tainted few CPI-M leaders. Before joining BJP, under Trinamool banner, the 6 MLAs raised question, "Why is BJP Govt not sending CBI ?" MLA Asish Saha, MLA Sudip Barman during their Anti-Modi leaderships said that the Central Govt fully controls CBI and Enforcement Dept (ED) both. So, it's only the Central Gov which can send the CBI to Tripura. Even though the then Trianmool leaders claimed that CBI was under Central Govt, MLA Ratan Lal Nath continued to say, 'Central Govt has no link with CBI's functioing and CBI is an independent organization'. Reacting over Ratan Lal's allegation, Asish Saha said on that time, 'Ratan Lal Nath is an agent of BJP'. But after the 6 MLAs joined BJP neither their repeated their claims that Modi controls CBI, nor they sought apology for 'lying' against the CBI's function.

BJP however in election manifesto said that once the party makes a govt, then all Rose valley culprits to be arrested. Now it's to be seen how far BJP takes action in 'reality'.

Rose Valley Chit fund, which looted 14 lakhs people's savings, was one of the keys of BJP's politics against CPI-M and CBI has already interrogated Minister Bijita Nath, CPI-M topmost leader Gautam Das in this case. But in counterattacks CPI-M was mentioning about Sarada tainted Himanta Biswa Sarma and Mukul Roy like persons in BJP. 

On June 29, 2017 CBI had interrogated Minister Bijita Nath for an hour and half at Civil Secretariat in her chamber. CPI-M topmost leader Gautam Das was also interrogated by CBI in his newspaper office. Minister Bijita Nath has been the chief accused among the ruling Govt for her active involvement in Rose Valley chit fund scam, who herself was a depositor of the company.CBI’s East Zone HQ Kolkata official Bratin Ghosh had interrogated her at Civil Secretariat. Recently BJP has written letters to CBI giving all evidences of Rose Valley, accusing Manik Sarkar’s chief involvement in chit fund scam but then due to election hours all proceedings have have postponed.

However, CPI-M State Secretary Bijan Dhar replying to Chit Fund allegation of BJP against CPI-M, said, "Who is telling whom, when BJP itself is sheltering scamsters in the party". 

On the other side, along with the National CPI-M, Tripura CPI-M also will join in a massive protest to target the BJP Govt at Centre with the ongoing burning issue of Nirav-Modi scandal. The CPI-M has accused PM Modi's nexus with Nirav Modi scandal alleging a 'Hefty rise of Crony-Capitalism under BJP Govt and the Modi Govt'. The Polit Bureau of the CPI(M) thus has also called upon all its Party units to organise protest actions against PNB scam.
