UDAIPUR / AGARTALA, Feb 14 (TIWN): West Bengal Trinamool Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee herself couldn’t come in Tripura for poll-campaigning but amid the poor party-organizational condition of her Trainmool in Tripura, she has been sending stars to campaign for Trinamool. Just like Dev, today another Bengali film actress Satabdi Roy along with TMC leader Sabyasachi Datta have campaigned at Udaipur (Gomati Dist of Tripura). Earlier, talking to TIWN via phone, Sabyasachi Datta said that Mamata Banerjee’s arrival is not yet sure. However, today during Trinamool campaigning Sabyasachi Datta called Mamata Banerjee and via phone, breaking her silence against 6 MLAs who joined BJP, she told the voters, “I am always concerned about Tripura and the people of Tripura. Even though I couldn’t come this time but Tinamool’s wave will not end here.
Trinamool will move back”. “Yes, I was hurt with the 6 cheaters' Anti-Trinamool activities. But they will get their answers in time”, Banerjee added.
Along with Satabdi Roy and Sabyasachi Datta, MP Saugata Roy, MP Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar also campaigned for Trinamool Udaipur candidates Biswajit Chakrabirty, Mati Lal Shil.
Addressing the mass, Satabdi Roy said, “I am surprised to see that after 25 years of ruling in Tripura, Manik Sarkar couldn’t fix the state’s roads. Manik Sarkar as a person may be good, but as a Chief Minister he is total failure”.
“If you use a same shampoo, then it’s not good for your hair. In the same manner, a same govt can’t run the state for long”, added Satabdi.
