Manchester, Sep 20 (TIWN) Star Indian batsmen Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have maintained their top two positions in the latest ICC rankings for ODI batters which got updated following the completion of the three-match series between England and Australia. While Kohli is at the numero uno spot with 871 rating points, Rohit has 855 rating points and is currrently placed at the second spot.
Kohli (871 points) and his deputy Rohit Sharma (855 points, ranked two) have been out of action for some time due to pandemic-forced break but they have kept their positions intact.
Bairstow topped the series aggregate in the three-match England-Australia ODI series with 196 runs after his 126-ball 112 in the final match to re-enter the top 10.
The previous best for the 30-year-old Yorkshire player was ninth position in October 2018. He is now within 23 points of his career-best rating points of 777.
