Easwaran named Bengal's cricketer of the year

Kolkata, July 19 (TIWN) Bengal batsman Abhimanyu Easwaran was on Thursday named both 'best cricketer' and 'gentleman cricketer' of the year by the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB).
Top-order batsman Easwaran, who regularly plays for India A, has 3,754 runs in 46 first-class matches at an average of 51.42. In the last Ranji Trophy season, he scored 861 runs in six matches at 95.66.
