AGARTALA, May 15 (TIWN): Based on secret information police of West PS led a raid and arrested 2 drug traders from Jaipur, Dasamighat area with huge amounts of illicit items.

Police seized 120gm of brown sugar including 700 brown sugar boxes, 500 Yaba tablets, 4 mobile phones, 2 scooty, and Rs 80,000 in cash. The seized amount was estimated around Rs 20 lakhs, said police officials.

But Police have yet not revealed the 2 arrested drug dealers' names due to further investigation. Police said they are in search to arrest the main kingpin of drug dealer. After an investigation, it is suspected that the drugs items are entering Tripura from Shillong and Manpur, said a Police official.
