AGARTALA, July 9 (TIWN): On view of today's IPFT Strike and the tension erupted on the spot, Congress leader Pijush Kanti Biswas said that the clash is nothing but a fight for power amid ADC election.
Biswas while addressing media said,"Why are they calling for a strike when they are in the government? This is nothing but an inter-clash between BJP and IPFT for power as the ADC election is knocking the door. It's just a competition to see who wins the Khumlung. There's no public interest involved in such clashes. This shows the ugliness of BJP government who once promised that they will provide all the facilities to indigenous people of Tripura, but since the 2018 March they didn't fulfil a single promise till now."

However IPFT's strike recieved 100% success in ADC today as the ADC remained paralyzed throughout the whole day. No vehicle movement was observed during the strike hours. The strike will be continued till tomorrow 6 am.
